This Item is the electrical contact point for the lamp to your wiring.
This is often exposed to harsh environment and therefore often corroded badly. It is known that the the remaining few tiny wires just wound somehow to give just an idea of electrical contact.
It seems to be clear that the lamp cannot work as expected under such bad conditions.
This little contact will be crimped just like any other "Lucar"-connnector.
- stripping
- bend the wires back again
- fit the prepared cable end into the little pin
- crimp it
- finished
